1. We organize fire/security education (safety and fire drills)
2. We carry out security/fire protection survey, offer technical advice and design systems that meet our client’s complete requirement.
3. We supply and install fire protection equipment including fire detection and alarm systems that meet our client’s complete requirement.
4. We do offer back-up service (maintenance) required to help our installed system run effectively.
5. The aim of the automatic fire alarm is to detect any smoke or fire and give an effective early warning signal for preventive measures to be taken. Such systems have the following facilities.
a. From 2 to 24 zones and above central fire control panel; which indicates the exact position or room of the fire outbreak making it easier for fire attendants to locate the fire.
b. Optical smoke detector (photo electric). This is especially sensitive to dense, large particle smoke for specific risks such as those from electric equipment where PVC may be smouldering.
c. Ionization smoke detector. Practically sensitive to small particles or fast flame fires. They are therefore ideal for detecting clean burning fires caused by paper, textiles or wood.
d. Fixed temperature heat detector. This is used where sudden changes in temperature are likely. For example kitchen and boiler rooms.
e. Rate of rise heat detector. This may be used at normal storage areas and similar non-critical application.
f. Manual call points (Break Glass). This is sited on all exit routes, on all landing and all exits to open air.
g. Accumulators. This provides 72 hours of continuous services of power after electric power goes off. It immediately recharges when power is reinstalled.
h. Audible alarm. This forms an important component in any alarm systems and may be either bell or more commonly now, an electronic sounder.
i. Visual alarms. In general, visual alarms are used to supplement audible at where there is very high noise. It should, however, be clearly distinguishable from any other visual signal used in the premises
